Cascada da Bernina waterfall trail The Cascada da Bernina waterfall trail The waterfall trail is a short but extremely worthwhile adventure hike along the Cascada da Bernina. In just 600 meters, it overcomes a total of 85 meters in altitude. This makes the nature all the more magnificent along the Ova da Bernina mountain stream, which rushes down into the valley over several cascades. The entrance is at the Morteratsch RhB station in the direction of the car park. From three viewing platforms you can watch the torrent make its way through the pristine mountain forest. Sometimes it falls foaming over rocks, sometimes it builds up to form natural whirlpools. On the first viewing platform, a railway viaduct on the Bernina line is at the center. On the other two platforms you can learn exciting things about hydropower and wine transport. Here the valley divides: southeast along the Ova Chamuera to Alp Prünella, southwest along the Ova Prüna to Alp Prüna. Shortly behind the alp there is a very beautiful waterfall (Ova Prüna).

A beautiful part of the waterfall path at the Ova de Bernina. Located between the stations Bernina Suot and Morteratsch of the RhB. The path is highly recommended and can be walked both up and down.

Difficulty: K3-4, key point K4+, bypassing the key point at Adlerhorst K3. Originally designed, partly very airy sports via ferrata in the compact rocks above La Resgia, to the left of the Languard waterfall. The route is secured with 382 metal steps and 620 meters of wire rope; a rope bridge and a wire rope net are additional gags of the route. For wildlife protection reasons, the via ferrata remains closed from the beginning of November to the end of June. The via ferrata La Resgia can be easily combined with the via ferrata Languard (K5)

The Rosegbach (Ova de Roseg) is a genuine glacial stream and is fed by the Lej da Vadret. It flows down through the Roseg Valley, joins the Berninabach near Pontresina and is henceforth called Flaz. It is a stroke of luck for hikers, as it makes the hike through the beautiful valley even more idyllic and offers the opportunity for a short Kneipp cure in summer.
