The Pfortener Teich is a 0.2 hectare lake in Gera. The Pfortener Teich is always worth a visit, both in summer and in winter.

With its almost 7,000 m² water area, the pool in the Kaimberg district offers enough space for young and old to swim, Bathe and relax. The so-called tea house at Nöbdenitzer Teich is a replica of the historical original. It used to be in the private garden of the manor owners. On the occasion of the Federal Garden Show in 2007, the Nöbdenitz local beautification association rebuilt the historic tea house between the ponds after over 60 years. Today the tea house is a popular rest and picnic area right on the Sprotte adventure trail.
