It is still a very nice place to take a break. Even if the water lily pond doesn't have much water left. There are several places to rest for a while. And the places have been decorated with lovely figures. It is always worth a trip. And maybe you will run into Aiko and me. Since we do this tour quite often 😊

At the Krötenpfütze there are some very informative information boards and some good signposts in the middle of the forest. A beautiful winding gravel driveway from Birkigt leads to the Krötenpfütze. The wonderful, lonely descent to the north via Friederbach into the Saale valley begins here.
