The sun was supposed to shine from midday onwards today, but it didn't. So we went up the Kulmberg again. The sun was shining beautifully up there. Once we reached the tower, we had a wonderful view of the fog in the valley below. The trip was definitely worthwhile, and it was a lovely afternoon.

This mountain bike tour started beautifully, taking us through Lichtstedt and Groschwitz, but when we arrived in Heilsberg, my derailleur failed and bent. Riding was out of the question. A test ride via Langenschade was necessary because I had to replace the brake pads. Everything is fine except Komoot is acting up; the elevation gain needs to be halved for it to work correctly. Does anyone know what can be done about this?

A beautiful mountain bike tour with some very challenging sections. The trails towards Kesselwarte were a bit of a disaster, completely rutted, but oh well, that's what you want. Onwards towards Schaala and Mörla, then to Rudolstadt and up Spansberg, from there back to Preilipp and Schwarza via the Debra

After lunch, I decided to go for another bike ride. I went to Saalfeld and, behind the train station, over the Roter Berg hill, then back to Fischersdorf, Bretternitz, Reschwitz, and finally to Schwarza. It was another successful afternoon.

A very beautiful, easy but strenuous tour. The weather forecast was bad, but the weather, although frosty, was wonderfully sunny. The tour included some challenging climbs, but was otherwise easy. Upon arriving at the Kienberghaus, it was closed; it wasn't clear whether it would reopen at all. A shame
