Three beautiful ponds form a wonderful oasis of relaxation in the village, fed by the Lossa stream. They are probably used as fishing waters. At the edge there is a small club house with seating and information boards on the fish species.

The white pit is a 0.62ha small pond/pond in Altenroda. The waters contain fish species such as perch, bream, roach and rudd. The body of water is surrounded in the outer area by a narrow strip of greenery and on the banks by a narrow belt of trees. The southern shore of the body of water is the most accessible. I was lucky enough to be here in the best winter weather. You can walk around the reservoir. Bundsandstein can also be seen in the valley.
