The white pit is a 0.62ha small pond/pond in Altenroda. The waters contain fish species such as perch, bream, roach and rudd. The body of water is surrounded in the outer area by a narrow strip of greenery and on the banks by a narrow belt of trees. The southern shore of the body of water is the most accessible.
