철도 노선에서 오면, 왼쪽으로 갈라지는 두 번째 길 앞에서 왼쪽으로 숲으로 이어지는 오솔길이 있습니다. 사냥터 오두막까지 약 400m.

We were there today, too. We finally made it. It was very hidden, but we found it in the end. It's impressive. The ravages of time are already taking their toll. A tree has already fallen on it, but it's standing rock solid.

The access to this "lost place" is very hidden. In August 2024, mosquitoes attacked this short path covered with fresh grass. But nature is slowly reclaiming the place. Now a tree has fallen on the house.

Nice refuge for a break

The idyllic village is worth the journey by bike anyway and then coffee and biscuits, a great idea. You're happy to give something to the cash register of trust.

The Bahlsen hunting lodge is popularly known as "The Iron Seat". Quote: "It is reported that the house was very well equipped inside. There were beds, a kitchen, washing facilities and even a toilet. In addition to the garage under the house, there was supposedly a swimming pool in the early years, but this was filled in when the house was no longer in use." Uncertain records, but conceivable, in any case electricity and water connections are still visible today. The clearing in front of the house is said to have been cleared for hunting purposes at the time.
