A well-maintained beach with a sweeping view of the water. Food and drink are available at the mini-golf course or at the campsite (which also houses the Oase restaurant). The "Zierow Strand" bus stop is approximately 200 meters from the beach. A bus to Wismar departs every hour (30 minutes to the central bus station).

It leaves the pond on the western bank, passes under the Wismar-Bad Kleinen railway line and flows from there in a northerly direction. In the Lindengarten, south of the train station, the Mühlenbach is dammed. After passing under Bahnhofstrasse, the watercourse is called the Mühlengrube. The Mühlenbach played an important role historically: it was regulated as early as the 13th century to operate mills and to make it navigable. Barges transported goods such as grain, salt and herring. The stream was also used for washing clothes and supplying water.
