That's the way it is. The boardwalk is impassable and the alternative is really exciting. Surefootedness and a sense of balance are required here. In really wet weather it will probably be impassable...

There is a great circular route around the Vielbecker See with many opportunities to rest and there are many beautiful photo opportunities.

The boardwalk through the Everglades is really crass and impassable. The alternative trail has an incline and is sometimes adventurous. Great jungle feeling!🤩
