Bernstorf Manor or Bernstorf Castle is an imposing building and is directly visible from the street. Bernstorf Manor has been home to a hospice since 2014.

The castle is currently hidden behind scaffolding. There are also signs indicating that when you enter the castle grounds you are on private land.

Nothing of the complex can be seen anymore. But you can easily imagine a castle standing on this hill. Great view from above, hidden in the forest.

Manor house (manor house, castle) Johannstorf In 1743, the two-storey brick building was built on the site of a former moated castle according to plans by master builder Rudolph Matthias Dallin. In 1782, the Eckermann family acquired the estate and remained the owners until it was expropriated in 1945. After 1945, the manor house was mainly inhabited. The listed building has been privately owned since 1993, and the urgently needed renovation was a long time coming. Through a legal settlement between the town of Dassow and the owner, the town of Dassow has managed to at least partially start the renovation of the manor house. The outbuildings are continuing to deteriorate, as is the manor house. The remains of the Slavic castle complex Roxin are located 800 meters southeast of the Roxin district of the Stepenitztal municipality. The triangular, single-part complex was built on a natural mountain spur. The former refuge is now located in the forest, which can be accessed on foot.
