The Schulsee is located near Mölln's old town, has a maximum depth of approximately 5 meters and a rather soft bottom. Tributaries come from the Hegesee and the Mühlenteich. The shores are largely built up and therefore not suitable for fishing. Only on the north side are a few designated shore fishing spots. It is home to virtually all native fish species. However, it is mainly valued by Mölln anglers for its above-average eel population. The "Luisenbad" public swimming pool is located on the northeast shore of the lake. The Beidendorfer See (official name Klempauer Hof-See) is a lake east of Krummesse in the area of the municipality of Klempau in the Herzogtum Lauenburg district in the immediate vicinity of the Lübeck district of Beidendorf. The Beidendorfer See is leased as a club water for the Lübeck sports fishing club and has a good fish population of eels, perch, pike, carp and tench. The fishing club maintains a club area at the lake. There is a public bathing area that is heavily used in summer and is guarded by the DLRG Lübeck.
