On the northern shore of Lütjensee Lake, there is this beautiful free swimming area, accessible via the "Seeredder" street. Here, you can refresh yourself in the lake, enjoy the magnificent view of the lake, or drive in two directions from here and watch the sunset in small coves or from benches by the lake. Interesting historic building with charm.

Beautiful lake with great paths around it with a lake view.

It's actually more like dogs bathing here. I've only rarely seen people jump into the water here. And when they did, they always had their dogs with them. The Mönchsteich itself is an "insider tip" for a short walk anyway.

Nice for a break. Whether in the small restaurant or whether you bring something yourself. The only difference is that I haven't been swimming in the lake for a long time. Often the water has an algae problem because of the lack of oxygen and over-fertilization.

In contrast to the Großensee, you cannot drive around completely at Lütjensee because the houses are built directly on the lake. So here you shouldn't miss the opportunity and go to the beach!
