The walk up to this point is through moorland and meadows. The castle itself is definitely worth a visit. We've already had a personal tour of the museum here, as we were the only visitors.

It's a pity that Blücher Castle in Fincken has not yet found an investor - we spent a week in the Kavliershaus next to the castle - it is a beautiful hotel and very quietly located

The museum is a wonder. It is based almost entirely on the work of many volunteers.

Manor house: Neo-Gothic, 2-story, 13-axis plastered building from 1879 with a mezzanine floor, 3-story central projection and two side gable wings with stepped gable. Will be extensively renovated in 2018. Source Wikipedia. Unfortunately not accessible.
