The small river Bremke was once a German-German border river. In this section it meanders through meadows and sparse forests - a picturesque landscape. The hiking trail is wide and well paved.

The Wolfsbach is a small, wild mountain stream in the Upper Harz Mountains. It is created west of Hohegeiss by the merger of the small and large Wolfsbach. The Kleiner Wolfsbach rises north-west of Hohegeiss at an altitude of about 630 meters above sea level. The source of the Großer Wolfsbach is about 60 meters down north of the village, not far from the main road.

A beautiful vantage point and rest area, the short walk here is worth it. The HWN stamp box is located on the main path in a shelter.

A beautiful stream, a great inn and the thick fir trees make the Wolfsbachtal a beautiful hiking trail.

The cliffs are easy to reach, so it doesn't matter which bike or on foot. The view is breathtaking. Currently, however, the focus is on dying forests, which unfortunately becomes very clear from here.
