Nice lake. You can visit the swimming pool in the summer season, cycle around it from spring to autumn, and walk around it all year round. there is a restaurant by the beach

The Kiessee is located in the municipality of Krugsdorf. It is a residual lake of the former gravel construction and has an area of 0.45 km² with an average depth of 5.36 m. The bathing water quality of the lake is measured regularly and is classified as excellent. Today the lake with its sandy beach is mainly used by bathers and divers. It offers a varied soil profile and dense vegetation under the water surface. Source: Wikipedia

According to legend, the lake Leichensee got its name because the inhabitants of the robbery castle located on the lake should have sunk the bodies of their robbed victims there. (Wikisource: The legend of the Leichensee). The lake has a runoff to the Randow, which - in accordance with the name of the lake - is called a mortuary trench. On the southern shore are the remains of a Slavic castle wall.
