When I was a child, there was a bay in the reeds called "Buernbarg". Locals would swim here if they didn't want to walk as far in as they would on the beach (which slopes gently for a very long time for children). In the 1980s, the Mühlenberg marina was expanded, and in our last year of school we "got to" help clear the roots of the reeds. The bathing area was later given a jetty, which is unfortunately often damaged by ice and storms. However, the bungalow settlement's interest group has been looking after the area very lovingly in recent years, and even if they don't take the grammar on their sign too seriously 😎, many locals still like to swim there today. Unfortunately, strollers don't fit through the barrier.
