old industrial facilities as lost places (alum works, brickworks) and the idyllic flow of the Hammerfließ create a very special idyll. Simply wonderful. Great trails for runners and, if necessary, climbs of 100 m. If necessary, you can quench your thirst at numerous springs. Princess Elisa Radziwill, childhood sweetheart of the later first German Emperor, Wilhelm I, raved about the beauty of the valley: “Hammerthal – indescribably beautiful. A narrow valley flowing through by a thousand springs and densely covered in leaves and wood.”

One of the most beautiful trails in the area. Gravel/CX/MTB needed. Some fallen trees so you will need to carry the bike and walk couple of times. Narrow path in some points. Take care of mosquitos in summer... and I have found 2 times a naked guy in bike in this area... Berlin is different!

A small highlight, a bit technical to drive, over fallen trees and just along the stream.

Unique natural landscape from the Ice Age. Not quite the Grand Canyon, but somehow impressive.

Hellmühle is really a wonderful place. The Hellmühler Fließ always ensures a great climate and if you're lucky, the charcoal grill is in operation and you can treat yourself to a sausage or a neck steak on the hand.
