Great little mountain lake. Actually, you are no longer allowed to swim here, but when the weather is nice there are always people here to swim and sunbathe

Great view of the old quarry which is filled with water. It is forbidden to bathe here because of the broken rocks. In addition, it is well locked with chains. It looks like it is also privately owned.

... unfortunately part of the NSG has been a construction site since August 2020 🚧 and cannot be entered! A non-native aquarium plant that endangers biodiversity must be removed! Currently (May 2021) the water in this part is drained / pumped out! Will the long duration of the construction site help the NSG in the end and no longer break it? I hope so

The Am Grubenkopf nature reserve is located in the Bad Kreuznach district in Rhineland-Palatinate. The 3.0 hectare area was placed under nature protection in 1985! The protection purpose is the preservation of the area as a habitat for rare wild animal species that are threatened in their existence, as well as for scientific reasons.

That was also a big surprise for me - I actually just wanted to do a little after-work tour, and then I came across such a beautiful path that leads right along the stream around the pond, you can relax there except for a few walks with dogs because no one else met
