The Buchkammerfels is located in the foothills of the Heidenberg, south of the Drachenfels castle ruins and southeast of the municipality of Busenberg. It is a special cultural monument, also known as the Heidenkammern (Heathen Chambers). The origin and function of the three artificially created, inaccessible rock chambers are still not fully understood. However, it is assumed that they were either outposts or guard posts for Drachenfels Castle, or that the chambers served as a prison for the castle.

A fairly inconspicuous grotto. What is striking is that there is a trash can in the middle of the forest. So you can't miss it. But it still seems to be very popular.

You can enter the mine every hour on the hour, last admission 5 p.m. You "drive in" into the St. Anna tunnel and come out again through a tunnel from 1983. Entry is €5 for adults and €3.50 for children.

The St. Anna Stollen Visitor Mine The publicly recognized technical cultural monument St. Anna Stollen with the deep gallery is very worth a visit. During a 420 m long, comfortable underground tour at ground level, the visitor learns a lot about all the important mining activities, extraction sites and living conditions in the past. You can see ore being extracted exclusively by hand, technical facilities such as the 2 x 40 m deep shaft, self-sufficient water supply underground (cistern), natural ventilation through the 80 m high air shaft, individual domes with a volume of up to 500 cbm with their brightly lit, colorful iron ore veins.
