Especially in summer, Lake Ohmbach is a great place for all ages. There are restaurants, boat rentals, playgrounds, a campsite and plenty of benches. A walk along the shore is about 3 kilometres long.

The swan pond and the stilling pool bear witness to the impressive "Great Cascade". The multi-level cascade with fountains and artfully framed stilling basins was part of a water world made up of ponds, fountains and grottos. The forms of the cascade leading to the pool were also made visible again. They can be explored along a small circular path together with the former Hermitage (now only a foundation).
