The source of the Neckar is located in the Möglingshöhe city park. It is the main source of the Neckar. A new source stone was inaugurated in 2010 as part of the state horticultural show. The origin of the Neckar was discovered in the Schwenninger Moos. Within the urban area of Schwenningen, the Neckar was largely overturned. In the course of the state horticultural show, a new open stream bed was created to better protect the city against flooding. The Neckar flows into the Rhine near Mannheim and has a length of 367 km.
