Beautiful cliff path with rooty paths, ornate beech trees and great views. A highlight in any weather - definitely plan it! :-)

A great vantage point and summit. You can see as far as Vlotho.

The tower is an eye-catcher from afar and one that has a viewing platform. From there you have a fantastic all-round view. The whole thing is run on a voluntary basis by (it was) the Bismarck Association. Entrance fee (when open) to the tower: €1 Food very cheap! So it's a good idea for a cappuccino tour, EVEN THOUGH there's no cappuccino here 😉

The path is just great. Dead trees are allowed to remain here and provide space for woodpeckers, tree fungi and many other creatures. There is always something to discover here.
