Access is via a gravel parking lot near Hohenrode. The DoktorSee Camping and Leisure Park in Rinteln is a versatile holiday destination for cyclists, families, and those seeking relaxation. A special highlight is the annual summer festival "Doktorsee in Flames" with live music and a large fireworks display, which attracts many visitors.
