There are lovely playgrounds for children on both sides of the lake. The playground on the east side, with its ships and airplanes, is almost unbeatable. There's even a dog playground behind it.

The artificially created lake in the 1970s is one of Echternach's main attractions. The approximately 4km circular path around the lake is highly recommended.
