This well-maintained shelter is in a very exposed location. A bench and a table invite you to take a break. The hut also offers protection from rain and sun if necessary, but you can still enjoy a beautiful view.

Slightly getting on in years, fabulously decorated with cobwebs, with latently erotic wall paintings from the fifties(?), one half of the house is unlocked and lures with the wall inscription: "Welcome to the quiet Eifel pilgrim who is reading the book of nature." The Wenzelhausener Weg is fun. The Meulenwald is beautiful.

The old forester's house is located in the middle of the forest.
