Top always worth a trip

The snow hole is not far from the Ochsenkopf landmark. The snow hole is a hole in the ground secured by a metal grid, in which the snow remains for a particularly long time in spring.

Beautiful stream valley. The Koser rises north of Marktleugast and flows into the Schorgasttal in Wirsberg, which in turn flows into the White Main.

The Westweg is a hiking trail approximately 76 km long along the western edge of the Fichtel Mountains. It runs north-south from Münchberg to the Rauher Kulm. Along the way, it passes through the geographical locations of Weißenstein, Streitau, Gefrees, Ölschnitztal, Bad Berneck, Weißmaintal, Königsheide, the Haidenaab spring, Ahornberg, Immenreuth, Kemnath, and Kastl.
