"The last house on the left in Germany," is how innkeeper Franz Holler describes his inn, located directly on the Czech border. Guests have been served here for almost 700 years, and the inn has been family-owned since 1623. The cozy inn is open only on Sundays and public holidays. It serves delicious snacks, cakes, and, as a specialty, homemade cookies.

Where not so long ago, crossing the border wasn't as easy as it is today, you'll find the Gerstmeier border inn. Among other things, they offer snacks like the ones smugglers used to eat.
