The hut is very well maintained. There is also a table where you can take a comfortable rest. It is a bit cramped inside, but the name says it all :)

Hikers are welcome here. There are delicious snacks, especially the smoked fish, but the cheese platter is also a dream. Children won't get bored either: dogs, cats and chickens run around freely. There is also a playground.

There is a very well-kept shelter with a bench and table from the Frankenwald Association. Narrow? Just a little bit. :)

Beautiful ponds. Here at the Maulaffenplatz the paths around the ponds meet. You have the opportunity to rest in the hut. Unfortunately you can hear the A70 clearly as it runs along the other end of the ponds. Nevertheless it is a beautiful place to watch birds and other animals.
