Once you've made it through the forest, delicious food and friendly, natural service await you. I've been here twice now; the half trout was the best I've ever had, and the sausage salad was generous and delicious. Thanks to the small kitchen, they also serve delicious filter coffee. That makes it easy to forgive the lack of a mountain view. They caught a very rare Wolpertinger nearby. I'll definitely be back.

This was my second time here, partly because I ate a fantastic trout fillet the first time. Inside, a Wolpertinger with sharp teeth watches over the house.

A wonderful spot. I understand that this was once an alpine pasture. Today it's a lovely shelter for a great picnic and has lovely hammocks for relaxing. It's beautiful here.

The Adelegg mountain range was not settled on a large scale until after 1700. Emmental cheese was produced on the Schletteralpe until 1896. After that, the dairy was converted into a restaurant. For five decades, the Schleier attracted numerous hikers and skiers to the Adelegg. In 1962, no new tenant was found and the once proud alpine pasture fell into ruin. A fire finally did the rest. Today, there is a weather shelter on the site.
