A truly beautiful place to enjoy the sunset

We were at the hut today. It is clean and the view invites you to linger.... We went up with two children aged 6 and 10. They shouldn't be any smaller, as you hike partly on logging roads/unpaved meadow paths. The descent is also a bit challenging, as it is a fairly steep path. So only do it when the weather is nice.

A very beautifully located rest hut above the Birktal. The fact that the hut is not on a crowded hiking trail is noticeable: very clean and hardly any graffiti/carvings. Everyone who visits the hut should treat it with respect so that the Kipfenberg hiking friends can enjoy their hut for a long time.

The Sörgelhütte stands on a dolomite rock plateau. It is very beautiful and gives the visitor a beautiful view of the Brandplatz and Kipfenberg.

Shelter and rest area given. Friends of Nature houses emerged from the Friends of Nature movement, which was founded by socialists in Vienna in 1895. Nice campsite. Worth a visit even in bad weather.

Certainly interesting, but could not be visited due to corona restrictions!
