A beautiful hike through a truly special valley. From Dörsbach, the trail ascends in numerous steps through the gorge, past many "waterfalls" over which the Wäschbach stream carves its way through the steep valley. Not a hike for beginners!

A very good alternative to the overcrowded Ruppertsklamm.

The most impressive thing about the Swiss Valley is experiencing how hard life was in this valley back then. This all happens casually as you walk past the panels that describe the fates of the mills, the people, and the hardships in this wonderfully overgrown valley.

Very nice route along the water. There is a rest area with benches at Jammertal. There are generally a few places to sit. You have to expect muddy terrain.

Mühlbachtal is pure nature, accessible via an easy trail

The Swiss valley is rocky, damp, mossy. You could call it a gorge. Of the six mills that operated in the valley of the Schweizerbach, two are inhabited.

Fantastic brook valley with natural forest. Pleasantly shady and cool in summer.

Steep path over rocks and steps along a small stream with many interesting little waterfalls, gullies and pools in the slate - hence the name 19 holes. Very nice!! Sure-footedness required.
