This park was created as a follow-up to the 4th Saxon State Garden Show in 2006 and today delights visitors of all ages with a wide range of attractions. These include a zoo with exotic animals, an adventure playground, a labyrinth, a skate park, a barbecue area, and a miniature golf course. At the idyllic Rose Lake, the "longest bench" invites visitors to linger. The multi-purpose hall "The O" houses a large collection of coffee pots. Schleinitz Castle. Info: Former late Gothic moated castle in the Renaissance style. 16th century, with a valuable late Gothic castle chapel, memorial column, etc. Since 1781, a stone bridge has led over the former moat and two side staircases, on both sides of the castle side, lead down into the moat. Major reconstruction work took place in 1905. 1518 (castle chapel). 18th century (courthouse).

The lake is now guarded by security personnel. Swimming is only permitted for members of the Bobersen Sports and Landscape Conservation Association (VSLB). According to press reports, the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe is already considering the matter. It's actually unbelievable that in this sparsely populated region, only a select few should be allowed to cool off there. We were directed to the nearby forest pool, which had a visibility of less than half a meter and was very shallow in places. It wasn't that beautiful...

The castle and the beautiful village square in front of it are definitely worth a visit.

In summer it's a bit overgrown with blackberries and nettles. But it's still a nice place. The downhill part is very steep but it's really fun to ride. The uphill part is fun too.
