Old Market Square in Oschatz. Information: The Old Market Square originated as a merchant settlement in the 11th century. On the once sloping terrain, an ornamental area with trees, flowerbeds, and benches was created. The last redesign of the Old Market Square in 2003 changed its appearance once again. This included plantings in the central section, and the eastern section received a new fountain, designed and created by the sculptor Zehme in 2004, etc.

A very special tower. You can't go in, but the stairs go around the outside. From the top, you have a fantastic view as far as Dresden or Leipzig. The Monument to the Battle of the Nations and the Wisdom Tooth are clearly visible.
