The marking carved into the stone together with the niche has something of a portal :) Unfortunately I couldn't open it... In Breuberg there are several disused quarries (Wald-Amorbach, Hainstadt, Sandbach, Neustadt). They are in the forest and are mostly overgrown up to the breaking edges. This is the former Sandbach quarry, which is freely accessible off the path. Be careful, the quarry is unsecured, as are the edges.

At the Erdbacheinschlupf, the eponymous stream disappears into a karst cave. In this, the stream winds its way north and leaves the cave behind a ridge in the north before it flows in the direction of Mümling. There are some display boards for explanation.
