If you drive about 200m further down the road - away from the dyke - you can find a very nice place to relax, with several places to sit and - if you're with the kids - a nice playground. Right by the small pond. We used to go here a lot with our children.

A good place for a rest

This rest area is new to me on 8/24/24 and that's why I've included it on the Komoot route.

IF YOU CAN'T PET ANYMORE, YOU CAN SIT HERE. That is the Low German motto of this beautiful hut at the Neuendorfer Kuhle. But of course hikers can also take a break here and this hut is also ideal as a meeting point for a little chat. So we now have 2 rest huts in Neuendorf.

Unfortunately there are currently no tables and benches😒

The benches with the table that can be seen in the other pictures have been removed. That is the opposite of a highlight. Fortunately, the weather shelter has remained standing. My group and I found shelter there during an ADFC rain tour.

There is a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables here, straight from the "farmer".
