It is likely that this station was never built. Nevertheless, you will find a modern survey point and a bench here on the summit. The descents are also quite nice. From the station, the targets were Kandelstein, Kemmlerberg (near Plauen), Lottengrün, Schöneck, and Bergen. Some of these can be seen at the edge of the forest.

Update: The small shelter was unfortunately dilapidated and was removed. The Saxon Forestry Department has installed a bench in its place.

The hut is very nice for relaxing, little break. The trail to the Tannbach does not necessarily have to be. Doesn't mean that you can't get to the Tannbach, there are paths that lead there.

An arbor (lat. altus for high) is a balcony supported by columns from the ground will. Not so with our Bohemian neighbors: there it is a pavilion that Park serves as a shelter and vantage point. The two friendly cities Hof and Karlovy Vary built two balconies in 2014: one here and the other, the "Josef Jungmann-Altan" on a 535-meter high lookout hill above the Březová dam on the Teplá River. Josef Jungmann (1773-1847) was a writer and frequented Karlsbad. His five-volume Czech-German dictionary is famous.
