Large limestone caves near the town of Flöha-Plaue. Information: These caves are located where limestone was mined in the Middle Ages for Augustusburg Castle, and caves and an open-pit mine are still visible today. The Upper Schwedenlöcher (Swedish Holes) are partially accessible, but this is strongly discouraged due to the numerous collapses and cave-ins that occur in the area every year.
