The hiking hut offers a cozy rest stop with a shelter and a stamping station. Directly below the hut is the Kellersbrunnen, a small spring that, while not potable, offers refreshing cooling on hot days.

Nice wooden hut on the side of the road... unfortunately the fountain is no longer suitable for refreshment

The barbecue and rest area is beautifully located in the forest and invites you to linger. In addition to the grill, there are various benches (some of which are covered) and a fountain. The route from Zimmerhof to the barbecue area is really very beautiful and leads past the stream, through the forest and past the Sommersbacher mill with its game reserve.
