Just above the Margaretenschlucht gorge lies this beautiful rest area, which invites you to take a break after the strenuous climb.

The barbecue and rest area is beautifully located in the forest and invites you to linger. In addition to the grill, there are various benches (some of which are covered) and a fountain. The route from Zimmerhof to the barbecue area is really very beautiful and leads past the stream, through the forest and past the Sommersbacher mill with its game reserve.
