The castle park in Bad Rappenau is a beautiful place, captivating with its central location and impressive natural surroundings. The three-storey building, located in a beautiful park on Babstadter Strasse, was completed in 1601 by Eberhard von Gemmingen on the site of an old moated castle. The building stands on oak tree trunks driven into the ground. The castle lake is fed by the Mühlbach, which flows nearby and is culverted.

The lake is a reservoir and is flowed through by the Tiefenbach, which flows into the Mühlbach and finally into the Neckar. The shore of the lake is lined with trees and bushes, which gives it an idyllic atmosphere.
