The birdwatching hut on the Brunssummerheide is a sheltered observation area in the heart of the nature reserve, specially designed to observe birds and other animals in their natural habitat without disturbing them. From the hut, you have views of heathlands, fens, and forest edges, making it an excellent spot for birdwatchers, photographers, and nature lovers. Due to the recent fire in parts of the heathland, the hut now also offers views of recovering and partially charred areas, creating a unique, sometimes dramatic, sight.
