This "shelter" is a wonderful place to take a break or wait out a rain shower.

In the 1920s, the Friends of Nature built a magnificent guesthouse on the Himmerich hill in the Siebengebirge mountains. https://www.komoot.com/de-de/highlight/120459 The Nazi rulers stole it and demolished it. After the war, the Friends of Nature fought for a replacement and received the Blücher Mine House.

A lovely restaurant in the forest. There are also small concerts here every now and then.

The small forest café on the Wupper is an ideal place for a break. It's really quaint inside and there are benches outside where you can drink coffee (there's also beer and other drinks). The cake is highly recommended, especially the amaretto cherry cake :-). In the nice forest house there is a Bergisch coffee table for 8 people or more Or coffee and cake or a coffee to go in the lovely restaurant or in the nice beer garden

We stopped there and treated ourselves to some champagne. Can you sit well?
