It is located in a protected area and offers a peaceful, pristine nature experience. The hiking trails lead through forests and along streams, making the valley an ideal place for nature lovers.

The stairs to the grotto are very steep and irregular, so wear good shoes and be careful when it rains. The grotto is very well maintained but not ideal for sitting down. View of the Jagst valley towards Untergriesheim.

Good shoes and surefootedness are an advantage. It is not a normal forest path. It can be quite slippery. But it is definitely worth seeing, something different to a normal forest.
