It's really beautiful up to the Köppel. The path is narrow and you can hardly get past the hut from the side. You have a beautiful view of the swan pond and it's great to watch the people. :D Binoculars are recommended! You have to be careful of the numerous broken trees. I would advise against doing this if it's windy.

The imperial oak is apparently dead, because while all the other trees had beautiful spring green leaves all around, the crown of this tall oak unfortunately looked completely bare, except for a few brown leaves that either come from the previous year or have withered in the last few weeks. The bark is already coming off the branches in some places. Then the magnificent tree will soon have to be felled before the mighty branches begin to fall at the crossroads. I couldn't see what killed it, possibly the dry summers of recent years, although the trees all around look very vital. A few meters away there are even 2 huge conifers (Douglasias?), which can also come up with dense greenery.

I do feel a little sorry for this beautiful tree, you can see how much it is suffering. It stands at a hiking trail junction. A hut invites you to take a rest. Depending on which path you have chosen, you have a climb behind you. Then a rest is good.
