The panorama of the river - our good old "Father Rhine" - and the surrounding landscape is totally impressive. For example, if you look across the river in the direction of Brohl-Lützing, find the station of the Vulkan Express and have already traveled from the Rhine Valley through the Brohltal up into the Eifel, this view now conveys a completely new feeling.

You will be guided up the mountain with several signs (Rheinbrol Ley hiking car park, photo).
The path leads over very narrow village streets that can only be driven on in one direction. The last piece is a dirt road that ends in front of a barrier (photo). There is no parking or turning facility. A hint on the road or down in the village would be helpful. Especially since there are farms on top of the mountain. Large livestock trucks drive from there. I don't want to meet them in the village. hiking yes Better not drive.
