Only access by land to the island. There is a very good bike path next to the road.

The little detour to Poel has changed worth it. Very fine harbor and tranquil atmosphere.

The crossing to the island is at the narrowest point around a small bridge. In this area, the road is surrounded on both sides by water.

In headwind the island seems to defend itself. The more beautiful the bike paths and the wild sausage in the break. Highly recommended is Timmendorf beach with lighthouse and harbor. There are delicious fish sandwiches again.
