From the former fortress in Kirchdorf, there is a beautiful view over the harbor and the tranquil bay of the island of Poel. Between green remnants of the ramparts and old trees, the view opens up to the anchored sailboats, the small fishing cutters, and the red tile roofs of the village.

One of the most beautiful, unspoiled beaches I know. A bit too many rocks when entering the water, but they pass after a few meters.

There is no coffee, no cake, no bratwurst, no beer..... what am I supposed to do here? *lol*

Only access by land to the island. There is a very good bike path next to the road.

Very nice nature reserve. This is a great place to take a little break.
