The Heide Alm is a beautiful mountain hut that invites you to linger and rest.

Very educational and the large root in the middle of the pavilion is a highlight.

The Root Pavilion is an information point about the forest, trees and, as the name suggests, roots.

A great place to stay! If it rains lightly, you can take off your wet clothes here for a short time (not entirely waterproof). The fire pit next door looks safe as everything is covered in sand. No idea if an open fire is allowed, but perfect for tea or soup from the gas stove or something similar.

With a view of the Dahme you can enjoy a quiet, relaxed break here. The rustic wooden shelter has certainly seen better days - but if a rainstorm does pass by, you'll find a little protection here.
