The Grubethaus is usually open on weekends, except for school holidays. You can find out exactly when you can stop by on the Grubetfreunde website: https://www.grubetfreunde.de/. Across the street is an educational beekeeping facility, and this is also where the forest adventure trail starts.

Beautiful rest area in front of a nut tree (when nuts are ripe, definitely put on a helmet 😜). God rewards those who set it up and kept it so beautiful (and those who leave it clean).
