A great place to linger, even if there is usually no special treatment from the SGV youth centre, with the goulash cannon at the Ehmsenhütte for the new hiking guides ;) (see photos)

A great hut for a break. Many birds chirp here and in autumn the forest around is full of mushrooms.

Always good for a short break, then down the hill onto the Jägertrail.

The Jüppkenpark offers very nice places to take a break, whatever the weather. There are sometimes benches under the roof overhang or there is a bar table in the hut. A children's playground completes the small park. A new toilet facility is currently under construction. Wolo's cellar bar is brilliant, chilled drinks in a hole in the ground with a flap and self-service.
