The Hortenberg is a 51 m above sea level elevation in Deutsch Wusterhausen, a district of the town of Königs Wusterhausen in the Dahme-Spreewald district in Brandenburg. The elevation is located north of the district and south of the other district of Diepensee. There are a total of four elevations in the area, three of which are named. To the west is the Weinberg, which is 53.6 m above sea level, to the north is an unnamed area 45.7 m above sea level, followed by the Hortenberg and the 48.3 m above sea level Pennigsberg in the east. The Kahle Berg is 86 m high above sea level and is covered with pine trees. There are 2 lines of sight to the Motzener See and the Töpchiner See.

Easy to drive way, partly concrete slab

It is no longer really bare, but two lines of sight still offer an opportunity to look out

Stones and signs with runes or similar symbol-like signs can be seen on the Streitberg and the paths to it. There is also a stone with a Sator square de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sator-Quadrat. The way from the south is very sandy. There are well-navigable, so far not marked paths from the north.

You can hike around the small Kahler Berg in approx. 4 km. From above you can see the Motzener See through a forest aisle.
